Games that make a splash!
Games are an important way to interact with various subject matters, other people, and the world at large. They provide structure for the way we play, which is an extremely important aspect to learning — even for wild animals! A level of abstraction can also help break down complex topics into digestible, easier-to-understand pieces.
To that end, we here at Raspberry Grenade seek to create games that push boundaries and involve new concepts and themes, to provide an avenue into new ways of thinking and maybe broaden all of our horizons just a little.
Anyone's Game
The fantasy tournament game show!
32 characters/celebrities/teams vie for the championship through a series of varied and unpredictable challenges. The winner advances, while the loser is eliminated. It's not over until the final event, because this is Anyone's Game!
Asterism
Lay star-spangled tiles into a night sky scene that expands outward across the table and jockey for control of the cosmos!
These tiles don't tessellate, which means they leave open spaces between them naturally as you play. The trick — and the objective — is to create closed shapes in order to claim them for your own. But watch out — other players can use those same stars in their own shapes and steal them away!
Flanxiety
Roll a die and put it in the grid. Flank your opponents' dice to reduce their values. Drop a die to zero to remove it from the board. Make a die negative, and you get to put one of your own in its place! The first player with 13 dice on the board wins!
Great for families, new tabletop players, and students!
Gordian Maps
Construct a modular city map with your friends, and then take on the role of a navigation app and guide your customers to their destination, while maneuvering your opponents' vehicles off the map! Each move can affect
everyone's positions, so stay on your toes!
