Recently, the print-on-demand service we use for our games, the Game Crafter, has raised their prices across the board. This has forced us to raise our own prices in turn, and we're taking a smaller cut just to try to keep prices down.

We aren't happy about having to charge such significantly higher prices just to maintain a $1-per-copy margin, but this is our reality at the moment. We aren't a big company that can afford to mass-produce our games; if we could, Asterism could easily retail for $40.

We've been trying to find a publisher who can do that, but between looking for day jobs to barely keep afloat and very few publishers even taking submissions, our options at present are limited.
